Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 is sliding onto shelves, has enjoyed its first root already

It looks like Samsung's pen-toting Galaxy Note 10.1 has already hit shelves, but that's not even the best bit of this news. The 10.1-inch slate looks to have already been rooted by XDA Developers' forum member Zedomax.

Zedomax claims that he's the first person in the world to have rooted the Galaxy Note 10.1, where he claims he achieved the results by injecting root into the stock European firmware, which is an easier method, as it allows you to fully unroot and return the Note 10.1 for warranty in the future, if you run into any problems with the tablet.

Zedomax has his own website that has step-by-step instructions, with pictures, that you can check out. This is quite the feat, considering Samsung only announced the Note 10.1 a couple of days ago, now it has hit retail shelves, and been rooted. Is it just me, or when reading (or for me, writing) about 'rooting', I somehow feel dirty. But, in this case, it's a good kind of dirty. Is that dirty? Anyway, check out Zedomax's tutorial if you're looking to grab a Note 10.1 and want to err, root it.
